While researching career practices around the world for NCDA’s publication called International Practices of Career Services, Credentials, and Training (National Career Development Association, (2018, available at: https://ncda.org/aws/NCDA/page_template/show_detail/139017? layout_name=layout_details&model_name=news_article), Dr. Maze developed a structure for understanding the stages of career development services offered around the world.  She continues to work as the Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Career Development Association and has watched many of these countries move forward and strengthen their services in the past 6 years.  She will provide an update on career development practices around the world today and how Americans can work together with international neighbors on this process.

• Differentiate the stages of sophistication in career services delivery around the world
• Recognize the needs in each stage and areas where assistance is welcome
• Appraise the factors impacting our own career services delivery
